Gun Stolen From Lycoming County Home – PSP Montoursville continue to investigate a burglary which occurred during a one-week span of time earlier this month. Trooper Brandon Schrawder said between Jan. 7 and Jan. 13, entry was made into a residence at 5011 Route 414 which is owned by Janet Williams, 50, and William Pakuta, 47, both of Williamsport. The culprit gained entry into the home by obtaining the key to the house which was kept under a post cap on the front porch. Once inside, the burglar obtained a key ring which was left behind by the owners on the kitchen countertop, and used one of the keys to gain access into a walk in cooler where multiple firearms were kept. The burglar stole one Taurus .44 caliber revolver with a 6.5-inch barrel before fleeing the scene. Schrawder said the property is a second home that is primarily used on weekends and during the summer months. Anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700.
