Jersey Shore Driver Killed in Head-On Collision – PSP Montoursville continue to investigate a two-vehicle crash which claimed the life of a Jersey Shore man and sent another man to the hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 10. Trooper Paul McGee said Robert J. Maines, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene by Lycoming County Deputy Coroner Jerold Ross after his Dodge Intrepid was struck head on by Tyler Stroble, also of Jersey Shore around 4 p.m. Stroble, 20, was traveling northbound on Route 44 highway in Watson Township when he traveled left of the double yellow center line and struck Maines head on. Maines’ vehicle was pushed backwards from the impact and came to rest on top of a PennDOT guardrail along the southbound lane. Stroble was transported to the Jersey Shore Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, McGee said.

You all need to stop saying stuff about Tyler, when nobody knows anything about him.... dont assume things when you weren't even there, you dont know him and you dont realize the suffering he is going through aslo. Have some sympathy for him, he didnt do it on purpose.

This kid sickens me!! We know the driver that died! He was a wonderful man on his way to the Church to do some work. Then along comes this punk! How dare this kid complain of pain in his stinkin feet!!! He doesn't know pain! That same family buried their Mother 6 months ago! I'll bet Bob and his family would welcome broken feet! How about some remorse Tyler! Maybe stop whining and be a man......go apologize to this broken hearted family! You have to live knowing you took someones life, they have to live without him! How does that feel?? Karma is a bitch!

Tyler didn't do this on purpose and get with the program, he is 20 years old and is still in shock from what happened... he's allowed to complain about his feet hurting. I don't care if you know the family of the man who was killed or not, my brother feels horrible and it doesn't help with people like you saying this to cut the wounds deeper, he is not a punk and accidents happen, he didn't just wake up that morning and say "Oh, I'm going to go get into a car accident today just because i feel like it."
You cannot sit there and tell me that you haven't accidentally been in the other lane while you are driving, it happens to all of us, you're not a damn perfect driver and nobody can say they haven't accidentally crossed a yellow line, just happens that it was at the wrong moment, so before you keep talking about someone who you don't even know, consider if you were put in the situation that Tyler is in... it was an accident!!! Karma is a bitch, and I hope that karma gets you by talking crap on someone you don't even know anything about!

Tyler Stroble had a pic of the accident scene on his face book page, and was complaining of a bad day and broken feet.... Now he removed it. I wonder if he was high or intoxicated, due to entering another lane of traffic head on. Or maybe texting while driving? Either way, this is very sad and I pray for the family of the deceased.

Anyone who has Facebook posts what happens to them, as for complaining about a hurt foot, get the hell over it, he's 20 years old, he was still in shock, and he doesn't need people like you saying stuff that makes him feel even worse.
I don't appreciate you assuming things when you don't know ... are you a police officer? Did you investigate the accident? Were you in the truck with Tyler? No, you weren't, so stop assuming when you don't know anything about it!
