Montoursville State Police Release Lycoming County Response Stats – The Troop F Station of Pennsylvania State police based in Montoursville responded to 789 incidents during December 2011. Criminal offenses totaled 224, with 116 criminal arrests and 140 offenses cleared. Additionally, troopers responded to 114 crashes, one fatal crash; 11 hit and run incidents; 50 reportable injuries; 21 DUI arrests; and 10 DUI-related crashes. While there were no DUI-related fatalities, troopers issued 516 traffic citations and issued 152 warnings.

On Jan. 2, 5:15 p.m., Raymond Paul Downs, 42, of Valley Heights Drive, Williamsport, got into a verbal altercation with Heather Marie Davis, 32, of Williamsport, and an unnamed witness in the Sheetz parking lot on E. Third St. and Westminster Drive. The altercation turned physical after Downs pounded on the passenger side window, then open the passenger door and shut it on Davis, Trooper Erik Barlett said. Harassment charges were filed against Downs.
