Burglary Investigation Continues in Clinton Township – PSP Montoursville continues to investigate a burglary which occurred last month on Route 15. Trooper Brandon Schrawder said during the overnight hours of Dec. 20, someone gained entry through an unlocked kitchen window of the Northwood Motel, 6801 Route Highway. Once inside, the burglar(s) entered the office area and used a tool to forcibly gain entry into a three-drawer metal filing cabinet where the motel’s cash drawers and bank deposit bags were kept. Approximately $745 was removed by the actor before fleeing the scene, Schrawder said.

On Monday, Jan. 2, 1:48 a.m., Miranda Nadine Day, 38, of 567 Dunwoody Rd., Williamsport, and Nathan Nicholas Smith, 34, of 5705 Route 87, Montoursville, engaged in a domestic dispute. Trooper Joel Miles said the dispute escalated to physical contact while both were at Smith’s residence. Day was not harmed and requested no prosecution, Miles said.

On Monday, Jan. 2, 1:30 a.m., Thomas John Scott, 30, of 135 14th St., Renovo, heard someone on his front porch and observed a paper bag on fire and Jesse C. Shields fleeing the porch. Trooper Brian Hoy said Scott put out the fire and observed it was filled with feces. A non-traffic citation of criminal mischief will be filed against Shields, Hoy said.

On Jan. 1, 1:15 p.m., Casandra A. McGill, 25, and Dennis L. McGill, 45, had a verbal disagreement while at 286 E. Sullivan Ave. in Avis, Clinton County. Trooper Michael Flook said Dennis McGill shoved Casandra McGill, not letting her use the phone. Harassment charges were to be filed, Flook said.

On Friday, Dec. 30, between 3:30-4:30 p.m., Vincentia A. Fuller, 50, of Jersey Shore, was allegedly observed by store personnel concealing various merchandise while at Kmart, 1915 E. Third St., Loyalsock Township. Trooper Gary Beadle said Fuller attempted to leave the retail store without paying for the merchandise. Due to two prior retail convictions, Fuller was arraigned before District Judge Ken Schriner and subsequently lodged in the Lycoming County prison after failed to post $5,000 bail.

On Dec. 29, 7:30 p.m., a verbal argument ensued between Raymond Edward Doss, 41, and Teresa Dawn Gibbs, 34 while both were at 179 Old Cement Road, Lot 2 in Fairfield Township. Trooper Joel Miles said the argument escalated to physical contact when Gibbs punched Doss in the face. Doss sustained minor injury and requested that police not prosecute Gibbs, Miles said.

On Dec. 5, a London, UK suspect made a purchase through www.hottopic.com in the amount of $190.49 using the MasterCard information of Robert J. Embly, 20, of Muncy. Trooper Brandon Schrawder said the merchandise purchased by the foreigner was shipped to an address in the United Kingdom.
