Attempted Armed Robbery, Burglary in Loyalsock Township

Attempted Armed Robbery, Burglary in Loyalsock Township - PSP Montoursville continue to investigate an attempted burglary and armed robbery that occurred during the early morning hours of Wednesday, Dec. 28. Trooper Joel Miles said around 3:30 a.m., an unknown white male, approximately 20 years of age, came to the door of Adolph Cillo, 1857 Log Run Road, in Loyalsock township. The white male told Cillo, 74, that he broke down and needed to use a phone. Cillo said the white male made two calls on his phone and then presented a black revolver, telling Cillo to get on the ground because it was a robbery. Cillo then ran into his house and slammed the door in the suspect's face, Miles said. Anyone with information in this case should contact 570.368.5700.
