Medication, Cash Stolen from Vehicles in Hughesville – PSP Montoursville continue to investigate at least two incidences of theft from a motor vehicle which occurred during the overnight hours of Dec. 10. Trooper Daniel Kozak said someone entered vehicles belonging to Penny Lynn Shoemaker, 32, and Brandy Mae Chestnut, 22, while their vehicle were parked at 152 Boak Avenue, Hughesville. Prescription medication, cash and a car stereo were included the $425 worth of items that were removed from both vehicles between the hours of 10 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Montoursville at 570.368.5700.

Two Incidences of Harassment – PSP Montoursville report two separate incidences of harassment on Dec. 10. Shortly before 6 p.m., state police cited harassment charges against Ellen Thompson, 49 of 6641 S. Route 44, Limestone Township following a domestic dispute. Trooper Paul McGee said Thompson physically attacked a 47-year-old female during the dispute. Charges were filed with District Judge Jerry Lepley.

Later, shortly before 11:30 p.m., police responded to 180 King St., in Wolf Township, Hughesville, following harassment by Richard Lee Forsyth, 67. Forsyth struck a 14-year-old male about the head and chest approximately 15 times during the dispute, Trooper Jared King said. Charges were filed through District Judge Roger McRae.
