Jersey Shore Man Faces Alleged DUI Charges – PSP Montoursville charged a 40-year-old motorist with DUI following blood alcohol content results. Trooper Brandon Schrawder said Robert A. Koch was operating a vehicle in the 6000 block of north Route 44 highway on July 22 when it crashed. Koch was life-flighted to Geisinger Medical Center with severe injuries. Schrawder said the investigation into the crash led PSP to suspect that Koch was under the influence of alcohol and/or controlled substance. A search warrant for Koch’s blood was executed at GMC on Nov. 21 and the warrant for the results revealed that at the time of testing Koch had a blood alcohol content of .109 percent as well as a controlled substance, Schrawder said.

Other motorists who have been arrested for suspicion of DUI include the following:
•    Marty Lynn Skidmore, 46, 2942 Blair St., Williamsport, around 10:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31. Skidmore was unable to maintain control of his vehicle, driving off Northway Road, approximately one mile north of East Third St. and striking the adjacent sidewalk and utility pole. Skidmore then fled the scene in his vehicle to a nearby residence. He was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williamsport Hospital. Charges filed with District Judge Ken Schriner.
•    On Oct. 30, 6:15 p.m., John Bidlespacher, 49, of Trout Run, was stopped for speeding on Route 14, south of Ralston in McIntyre Township. Cpl. Derron Farber said Bidlespacher was found to be intoxicated and charges were filed.
•    On Oct. 29, 815 p.m., state police were dispatched to the 15000 block of Route 220, Penn Township to check on a vehicle in a ditch. Upon arriving, authorities determined that Richard Rodgers, 66, of Levittown, was attempting to turn around when he backed into a private driveway but backed into a ditch instead. State police determined that Rodgers was under the influence of alcohol; charges were filed through District Judge McRae.
•    On Nov. 13, 6:20 p.m., Gloria A. Martin, 42, of Trout Run, was stopped for speeding on Route 14, south of Ralston in McIntyre Township. Once stopped she was found to be intoxicated and failed a series of field coordination exercises, Cpl. Derron Farber said, who filed appropriate charges.
