Back Branch Road Emergency Flood Recovery Continues; Road Remains Closed

Montoursville - Motorists in the Bloomsburg area are reminded that Route 4008 (Back Branch Road) is officially closed, while emergency flood repairs continue.

Contractor Don E. Bower, Inc. is working six days a week to expedite the flood repairs.

In the meantime, PennDOT asks motorists for their patience and to find alternate routes while the road remains officially closed and emergency flood repairs are under way. PennDOT makes this request for the safety of the highway workers and the motoring public.

Barring anything unforeseen, the contractor is expected to have the road reopened to traffic by early next week.
