Route 220 NB Closed Near Route 287 Following Truck Crash

Montoursville – Route 220 northbound is currently closed between the Main Street, Jersey Shore interchange and Route 287 intersection in Porter Township, Lycoming County.

A truck hauling heavy equipment on a lowboy trailer clipped the railroad bridge just west of the Route 287 intersection.

Cleanup activities are underway.

Route 220 northbound is expected to be reopened to traffic in about an hour.
