Route 15 Rehabilitation Project Update

Montoursville - Here's a brief update on some of the work remaining at the Route 15 rehabilitation project just north of the I-180 interchange at Exit 29 in Williamsport.

Line painting work is scheduled for today, with rumble strip installations scheduled for Nov. 8.

Installation of the overhead light poles was just completed, and the lights are energized and are in the middle of the steady-burn test period, with other testing to complete that will require access to a closed lane for inspection and adjustment, if necessary.

The closed traffic lanes will be reopened as soon as can be safely done so that the lanes can be left open.

Most of the work under this $7 million project is expected to be completed before Thanksgiving.
