Montoursville - A PennDOT contractor will remove two more flood-damaged bridges in the region starting Monday, Nov. 7.
One is on Masten Road (SR 1013) in McNett Township, Lycoming County over a branch of Pleasant Stream and the other is on Route 4013 (Whites Church Road) over Deer Lick Run in Mount Pleasant Township, Columbia County.
They are both single-span structures that were damaged during September flooding.
Quality Engineering Solutions, Inc. is the contractor for this $104,218 project, scheduled for completion by mid-December.
Future contracts are being developed to replace both bridges and are tentatively scheduled for bid openings in spring 2012.
