Paradise Street Bridge Replacement Opened; Detour Lifted

Montoursville - A new bridge on Route 1015 (Paradise Street), about 2.5 miles south of Turbotville in Lewis Township, Northumberland County is opened to traffic.

The detour for the bridge over Muddy Run has been lifted.

A PennDOT bridge crew removed the previous bridge at that location and prepared the site for installation of a concrete box culvert, which was delivered and set by a private contractor. Then, the PennDOT crew restored the roadway approaches and performed the other remaining work to complete the project.
