Motorist Cited after Crash in Muncy Creek Township – PSP Montoursville cited a Lebanon man for driving too fast and for a front seat passenger who was not restrained following an accident on Thursday, Oct. 27. Trooper Michael Shipman said around 8:50 p.m., Michael A. Cruz, 20, was traveling west on Interstate 180 approximately a half east of the Main Street exit. As Cruz was changing lanes from right to left, he lost control of the 1998 Toyota Avalon he was operating and struck an embankment, spun and rolled several times before coming to rest along the left lane berm. While Cruz was not injured, his passenger, Jeffrey Oda, 20, also of Lebanon, did sustain minor injuries. Oda was not wearing a seat belt, Shipman said, and received treatment at Muncy Valley Hospital.
Texas Man Falls Asleep at the Wheel – PSP Montoursville say a Texas driver was not injured after he fell asleep while driving in Fairfield Township on Thursday, Oct. 27. Trooper Michael Shipman said Gary L. Wagner, 55, of Weatherford, Texas was traveling east on Quaker State Road shortly before 2:30 p.m. when he fell asleep and failed to negotiate a left curve in the road. Wagner, who was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, struck a utility pole, mailboxes and a speed limit sign in the 1800 block of the road, Shipman said. Wagner was cited with careless driving in that accident.
ATV Reported Stolen in Jordan Township – PSP Montoursville continue to investigate the theft of an ATV which occurred last week in Jordan Township. Trooper Doebler said someone removed a blue 2006 Yamaha Raptor 660 ATV from the residence of Justin Puderbaugh, 25, who lives at 5095 Route 42 highway. Doebler said the theft occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 26 between the two-hour span of 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. The chain was slipped over the rear wheel of the ATV by the unknown individual, who then fled the scene. The serial number of the ATV is JY4AM01YX2C012685; anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700, Doebler said.

• 2:13 p.m., lost hunter in the area of Alvira and Mill roads, Washington Township; township responded.
• 3:15 p.m., tree down, 200 German Road, Franklin Township; Lairdsville dispatched.
