Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit Community Open House Scheduled

Muncy Valley Hospital completed a major renovation of its Skilled Nursing Unit and is hosting a community open house on Sunday, October 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. with a brief ceremony and ribbon cutting beginning promptly at 2 p.m.

Community members are invited to tour the new two-story addition which features a family gathering room, dining and activity spaces, an expanded physical therapy gym and speech therapy space.

Balance screenings, home safety tips and refreshments will also be provided.

“We are excited to show the community our new space. Our goal is to provide our residents with a comfortable setting that promotes healing and positive outcomes,” said nursing home administrator Anne Holladay. This expansion is part of Susquehanna Health’s $250-million construction and renovation project called Project 2012.
