I-180 Bridge Repair Project near Turbotville Starts Oct. 10

Montoursville - A bridge repair project on Interstate 180 near Turbotville starts Monday, Oct. 10.

Contractor Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. will begin repairs to the crash-damaged concrete beams on two bridges that carry I-180 over Route 54.

The work involves concrete repairs and placement of fiber-reinforced epoxy on the damaged beams.

Work-zone traffic on Route 54 beneath the interstate bridge will be restricted to one lane with the control of flaggers during daylight hours.

This $79,560 bridge repair project in Delaware Township, Northumberland County, is scheduled to be complete by early November.

The bridge was damaged in a truck crash earlier this year.
