Route 87 Paving Project Starts Saturday

Montoursville - A resurfacing project along a one-mile section of Route 87 in Sullivan County is scheduled to start this Saturday, Oct. 8.

The work will take place along Route 87 in Cherry Township, between the intersections with Gainer Hill Road and Wampole Run Road.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane during daylight hours through the work zone. Motorists are advised to be alert to the work-zone traffic restrictions. Flaggers will direct traffic flow.

All work under this $264,642 contract by Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. is scheduled for completion by Oct. 21.
