Paxinos Man Dead Following Two-Vehicle Accident on Route 15 – PSP Montoursville report a Paxinos man was pronounced dead at the scene of a two-vehicle accident in Armstrong Township. Trooper Ed Dammer said David Stefanovige, 22, of 5484 Snydertown Road was traveling south on Route 15 shortly before 6 p.m. on Sept. 28 when he lost control of his vehicle during a rain storm. Stefanovige’s vehicle crossed into the northbound lane of Route 15 and into the path of Philip R. Reck, 62, of York, striking York’s vehicle broadside. Both vehicle came to rest within feet of each, south of the lookout, Dammer said. Reck was transported to The Williamsport Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. The roadway was closed for approximately three hours during the initial investigation, which is ongoing, Dammer said. Stefanovige was pronounced dead by Lycoming County Assistant Coroner Gerald Ross.
