Evangelical Community Hospital Schedules October Support Groups

LEWISBURG—Evangelical Community Hospital has scheduled its roster of support groups for the month of October. They are as follows:

·         Alcoholics Anonymous: Sundays from noon-1 pm and Wednesdays, 7 pm in Wood-Mode Conference Room, located on the Hospital’s Lower Level.

·         Look Good…Feel Better: Monday, October 3 from 1-3 pm at the Community Health Education Center. Call the American Cancer Society at 1-888-227-5445 to register.

·         Celiac Discussion Group: Tuesday, October 4 at 6:30 pm in Apple Conference Room C.

·         Weight Management: Tuesday, October 4 at 6:30 pm in Apple Conference Room AB. Registered dietitian Kim Mitchell will be hosting a cooking demo with fall recipe ideas.

·         Bariatric: Wednesday, October 5 at 6:30 pm in Apple Conference Room AB, located behind the Hospital’s Dining Room.

·         Lyme Disease: Wednesday, October 5 at 7 pm in the Evangelical Community Hospital Dining Room.

·         Cancer: Monday October 10 at 7 pm in the Middleburg Community Room.

·         Multiple Sclerosis: Tuesday, October 11 at 6:30 pm at the Community Health Education Center, located next to Staples on Route 15 in Lewisburg.

·         National Alliance on Mental Illness: Thursdays, October 13 and 27 at 6:30 pm at the Susquehanna Valley Mall.

·         Empty Arms: Monday, October 17 at 7 pm in D&E Conference Room, located across the hallway from the Hospital’s Central Registration. Please call Community Health Education to register.

·         Better Breathers Club: Wednesday, October 19 at 6 pm in Apple Conference Room AB. The topic will be “Home Instead Senior Care.”
