Harassment in Muncy Township

Harassment in Muncy Township – PSP Montoursville report an incident of harassment which occurred on Monday, Sept. 19 around 5:30 p.m. in Muncy Township. As Michael Mesko, of Wilkes Barre pulled over into the Big Lots parking lot at Lycoming Mall so he could get directions. Ted Bryan Wyland approached Mesko’s truck. Trooper Christine Fye said Wyland, of Centre Hall, attempted to pull Mesko out of his truck, striking and shoving Mesko several times in the face before fleeing the scene. Wyland was later apprehended by Williamsport City Police and returned to the scene. Wyland related he struck Mesko over a road rage incident; he is being charged with harassment, Fye said.

Burglary in Loyalsock Township – PSP Montoursville report a burglary which occurred on Wednesday, Sept. 21, around 10:30 p.m. in Loyalsock Township. Trooper Doebler said an unknown individual used blunt force to gain access into the residence of Jason Dohl, 28, of Montoursville. Once inside the 2535 Lincoln Drive home, Dohl pushed the intruder back outside and notified police. The intruder fled the scene on foot.

Propulsion of Missiles Reported in Muncy Creek Township – PSP Montoursville report a propulsion of missiles incident which occurred on Wednesday, Sept. 14, around 9:30 p.m. While Richard King, 33, of Muncy, was traveling west on Route 442 in the area of Muncy Homes, someone threw what appeared to be an apple at King’s truck. Trooper Troy Hendershot said a grayish Nissan Pathfinder was observed in the area and is possibly involved; anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700.

•    10:02 a.m., fire alarm, 140 Via Bella, Williamsport; city Bureau of Fire responded.
•    3:27 p.m., vehicle accident, 9800 block of Route 15 north, Hepburn Twp.; Trout Run and Hepburn dispatched.
•    5:58 p.m., fire alarm, 651 Cemetery St., Porter Twp.; Independent Hose, Citizens Hose and JSA EMS dispatched.
•    8:37 p.m., fire alarm, 10 W. Church St., Williamsport; city Bureau of Fire and MICU1-91 responded.
•    10:12 p.m., fire alarm, 801 N. Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville; Montoursville dispatched.
