New Ticket Policy Enacted for Thursday Night's Game at LLB World Series
A new ticket policy is in place for the Thursday 8 p.m. game involving the Mid-Atlantic team in the Little League Baseball World Series.
Because of the large crowds expected, most of the tickets for seating in Howard J. Lamade Stadium will be distributed between noon and 4 p.m. on Thursday in the parking lot in front of the Peter J. McGovern Little League Museum. The change has been made at the request of law enforcement and Little League security officials, to help alleviate the overcrowding that has occured on the concourse in some previous games.
The stadium will be cleared at the conclusion of the 4 p.m. game, and will reopen for those holding tickets or Section 1 passes at approximately 7 p.m.
Fans who do not currently have a ticket, and wish to be seated in the stadium, are encouraged to be in the Museum parking lot along Route 15 at or before noon on Thursday. Each person will be given one ticket only, until supplies run out. About 4,000 tickets will be distributed at that time.
If any seats remain unclaimed, more tickets for Sections 4 and 5 may be given out at the gates at approximately 7:45 p.m. Fans holding tickets or passes should be in their seats by 7:30 p.m.
However, as always, no ticket is required to be on the terraced hill beyond the outfield fence at Lamade Stadium.
