Community Arts Center to Host Baseball Movies

Kids and baseball is a combination that can't be beat. Williamsport has hosted the Little League World series for more than half of a century, and we have benefitted from the heart-warming inspirational stories of the young players' determination, skill, sacrifice and character. A few of those stories have made it to the silver screen.

The Community Arts Center will be showing two films about young people and baseball during the LLWS. Please come out and how your support for these important films.

During the week of Aug. 11-17, the “Boys of Summer” will be shown. Movie times on August 11-13 at 7:30 p.m., August 14 at 2 p.m., August 15-16 7:30 p.m. and August 17, 2 p.m. All tickets are $5.

The Sandlot, a classic baseball film, will be shown August 18-20. Movie times are Aug. 18-20 at 10:30 a.m. and again on August 20 at 7:30 p.m.
