Vehicle Accident Closed Block in South Wilpo – A vehicle accident in the borough of South Williamsport closed the 1500 block of west Southern Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 30. The Lycoming County Department of Public Safety said no access in that area was allowed and limited access to all of west Southern Avenue Maynard and Hastings streets was necessary. The block was reopened shortly before 11:30 p.m.
Cars Vandalized in Muncy Creek Township – PSP Montoursville report an act of criminal mischief which occurred during the overnight hours of July 18. Trooper Christine Fye said someone used a blue paint marker and drew on several vehicles at 511 Sherman St. extension. The person then fled in the scene between 8 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.; anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700.
Dumpster Stolen in Cummings Township – PSP Montoursville report a theft which occurred around 10 p.m. on July 23. Trooper Travis Pena was dispatched to Dam Run Road, approximately 2 miles west of Route 287 for the report of a stolen 30-yard garbage dumpster that was stolen. An unknown person arrived at the scene with a roll off garbage truck, loaded a green 30-yard dumpster onto the truck and fled the scene, heading east on Dam Run Road, Pena said.
Convent Landscaping Damaged – PSP Montoursville report an incident of criminal mischief which occurred during the overnight hours of July 17. Between midnight and 3:30 a.m., someone entered onto the premises of the Mother of Eucharist Convent, 6100 Jacks Hollow Road in Bastress Township and damaged several flower plants on the grounds then fled the scene. Trooper Fry said anyone with information is asked to contact 570.368.5700.
Harassment in Wolf Township – PSP Montoursville report harassment which occurred on Sunday, July 24 around 10:30 p.m. Trooper David Walker said Mary Elizabeth Buck, 53, and Donald Larue Warner Jr., 45, both of Hughesville, were involved in a physical altercation which took place at 20 Michael Avenue in Hughesville. Both sustained minor scratches and scraped as a result; both were charge with harassment through District Magistrate McRae, Walker said.

• 8:12 a.m., fire alarm, 807 West Fourth St., Williamsport; city Bureau of Fire and SHS EMS dispatched.
• 8:53 a.m., vehicle accident, 18000 block of Route 180 Highway, Fairfield Township; Montoursville and SHS EMS responded.
• 12:18 p.m., water rescue, 10 block of Bolins Landing Road, Piatt Township; Jersey Shore Independent Hose, Citizen’s Hose/Salladasburg and JSA EMS dispatched.
