Montoursville - A PennDOT bridge crew in Northumberland County will begin a bridge deck replacement project on State Route 1007 (Susquehanna Trail) in Delaware Township on Friday, June 24.
A detour will be implemented that day, using Routes 44 and 54 for the detour route.
The bridge carries Susquehanna Trail over a tributary to Warrior Run Creek, approximately three-quarters of a mile north of Route 44 at McEwensville.
The PennDOT crew will remove the existing blacktop deck and replace it with a new concrete deck.
The rehabilitated bridge is expected to be reopened to traffic by the end of August.
