Attempted Robbery in Loyalsock Township – PSP Montoursville continue their investigation of an attempted robbery on Monday, June 13. Trooper Aaron Messner said between the hours of 1:30 and 1:45 a.m., Nicholas Tedesco, 24, of Williamsport pulled up to the deposit drop box at Sovereign Bank at 301 Shiffler Avenue when an unknown suspect came from around the corner and attempted to take Tedesco’s money. Anyone with information is asked to call 368.5700, Messner said.
Injuries Reported as Motorcycles Crash – PSP Montoursville report three drivers sustained minor and moderate injuries in an accident in Washington Township. Trooper Gary Beadle said the crash occurred as Brett M. Diehl, 23, operating a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier, and traveling northbound on Route 44 shortly after 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 11. Gregory E. Moyer, 49, and Jeffrey Landis, 50, both of Telford, were operating motorcycles and traveling southbound on the same roadway when Diehl blacked out for unknown reasons. As a result, Diehl’s car traveled into the southbound lane of travel, striking Moyer’s 1999 Yamaha Silverado, Beadle said. To avoid contact with Diehl’s car, the second motorcyclist, Landis, swerved in the southbound lane and slid across the roadway into the northbound lane of travel where it then rolled an unknown number of times. Landis struck a mailbox and then continued down an embankment on the west side of the roadway where it came to final rest. Moyer was transported to Geisinger with moderate injuries; Diehl and Landis were transported to Evangelical Hospital with minor injuries, Beadle said. Fire and ambulance personnel from Washington Township, Clinton township and Loyalsock Township assisted at the scene. Diehl will be cited for roadways lane for traffic and failure to wear a seat belt, Beadle said.
Disorderly Conduct, Public Drunkenness at Treatment Facility – PSP Montoursville filed charges against a Rockledge PA woman on Saturday, June 11, shortly after 1 p.m. When Deborah Bogan, 41, became unruly at the White Deer Treatment Facility, 901 Westminster Drive, Loyalsock Township, counselors were forced to call state police, Trooper Paul McGee said. PSP arrived at the facility and asked Bogan to step outside. Bogan refused their request and subsequent order to leave, McGee said, and became physical with state police and started to physically struggle. Bogan was put in restraints and taken into custody when she was arrested for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. She was arraigned before District Judge Lepley and committed to the Lycoming County prison as unfit for arraignment; arraignment will be at a later time, McGee said.
Tire Stolen in McIntyre Township – PSP Montoursville report a criminal theft from a motor vehicle which occurred during the overnight hours of Thursday, June 9. Trooper Daniel Young said between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. the following day, an unknown individual entered the unlocked vehicle of Holly Lee Likens, which was parked at 180 Holly Street. Once inside, the person took the spare tire, Young said.
ATV Stolen – PSP Montoursville report a burglary which occurred over a five-day period in Cummings Township. Trooper Daniel Young said an unknown person forced their way into the basement of the Dog Run Hunting Club at 5908 Dam Run Road. Once inside the person stole an ATV belonging to Richard Litzelman, of 1511 Cogan House Road in Trout Run, then fled the cabin on the ATV, Young said.

• 3:59 p.m., tree on wires, 1616 Highland Lake Road, Shrewsbury Township; Picture Rocks responded.
• 5:06 p.m., fire alarm, 601 Thompson Street, jersey Shore borough; JS Independent Hose, JS Citizen’s Hose/Salladasburg and MICU94 dispatched.
Wednesday, June 15:
• 2:21 a.m., vehicle accident, 21000 block of Interstate 180 westbound, Montoursville borough; Montoursville and M1-91 responded.
• 3:26 a.m., structure fire, 2130 Route 4008 highway, Elkland Township; Elderville, Shunk, Hillsgrove, Forksville dispatched.
