Area Youth Win Honors in Aquafina - Major League Baseball Pitch Hit and Run Competition

Area children participated in the recent PITCH, HIT and RUN competition hosted by the Williamsport Crosscutters on April 30 at Historic Bowman Field.

The following children won first place, in the male division, in their respective age groups:
Ages 7 and 8
Overall Champion – Dallas Griess/Williamsport
Pitching Champion- Dallas Griess/Williamsport
Hitting Champion –  Dallas Griess/Williamsport
Running Champion – Dallas Griess/Williamsport
Ages 9 and 10

Ages 11 and 12

The winners now move on to the PITCH, HIT and RUN sectional competition.  Finals of the competition will take place at the 2011 Major League All-Star festivities in Phoenix, AZ.
 
PITCH, HIT and RUN is a national baseball skills competition that allows youngsters to showcase their talents in pitching, hitting and running with scores determined by individual performances in each skills event.
