Hughesville Auto Shop Reports Theft – PSP Montoursville are investigating the theft of scrap metal from Cranmer’s Auto Body Garage, 219 Saw Mill Road, Wolf Township. Trooper Paul McGee said the theft took place after office hours over a nine-day period between Friday, Jan. 28 and Sunday, Feb. 6. Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call PSP-Montoursville at 570-368-5700.
Route 220 Driver Uninjured – The driver of a 1980 Peterbilt Model 359 on Route 220 at Barto Hollow Road, Shrewbury Township, lost control of the rig while negotiating a left curve shortly before 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8. The driver struck a guide rail with the front, causing minor damages to the front bumper. The operator was wearing a seatbelt during the time of the crash and did not sustain any injuries, said PSP- Montoursville investigator Brandon L. Schrawder.
Vehicle Damaged at Lewis Township Car Lot – On Saturday Feb. 12, shortly around 2 a.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred with the parking lot of Donnie’s Downtown Country Mall, Slacks Run Road in Lewis Township. A 1997 Pontiac Sunfire was parked overnight facing east, and at an unknown time an unidentified driver struck the driver’s side rear corner, rotating the Sunfire nearly 90 degrees. The driver then fled the scene, said PSP Montoursville investigator Derron M. Farber.
Lycoming Mall Drive Scene of Elderly Driver Accident – On Friday, Feb. 11, shortly before 2 p.m., Shirley J. Masser, 66, of Millville was traveling west on Lycoming Mall Drive in Fairfield Township. Frank H. Odell Sr., 89, of Muncy, was stopped at a stop sign on Odell Road and pulled onto Lycoming Mall Drive into the path of Masser, who was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban. Upon arrival of PSP Montoursville investigator Brandon L. Schrawder, Odell, who was operating a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer, was in the parking lot of the Twin Hill Veterinary Clinic, facing east, while Masser was pulled off the roadway into a parking lot across the road facing south. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Odell was not injured in the accident, but Masser was transported to Muncy Valley Hospital for minor injuries. Odell was cited for violating the stop signs and yield signs vehicle code.
On Thursday, Feb. 10, shortly before 3 a.m., Jason E. Dauber, 25, of Liberty, was traveling north on State Route 15. Dauber lost control of the 2002 Dodge Neon he was operating while attempting to negotiate a right curve in the roadway, then attempted to regain control of the vehicle before crossing both north bound lanes of Route 15 and impacting a concrete barrier. Dauber then crossed both north bound lanes again, coming rest in the snow-covered median and becoming stuck in the median facing north. Seat restraints were used by Dauber, who was not hurt in the crash. Charges for Dui are pending the results of a blood test.

• 11:26 a.m., structure fire, 431 Park Avenue, Williamsport; Williamsport Bureau of Fire and MICU 1-91 responded.
• 11:53 a.m., vehicle accident, 3800 block of Muncy Exchange Road, Muncy Creek Township; Clarkstown, Keystone Hook&Ladder, M2-91 dispatched.
• 3:45 p.m. lift assist, 926 Mulberry Street, Montoursville, Montoursville responded.
• 5:10 p.m. lift assist, 1870 Hazel Drive, Loyalsock Township; township responded.
• 9:08 p.m., propane leak, 341 East Water Street, Hughesville; Hughesville dispatched.
• 8:25 p.m., vehicle accident, Noyes Township, Clinton County; Renovo dispatched
• 11:36 p.m., fire alarm, 1725 East 3rd Street, Loyalsock Township; township and MICU18 responded.
Feb. 12:
• 10:28 a.m., carbon monoxide detector, 347 South Highland Street, Lock Haven; city responded.
• 1:05 p.m., motor vehicle accident, 1-80 westbound Lamar exit, Clinton County; Nittany Valley, Station 21 and 22 responded.
• 3:58 p.m., structure fire, 433 E. Clinton Street, Lock Haven; city dispatched.
