'Life After Loss' bereavement program offered by Evangelical Hospice

LEWISBURG – Coping with the loss of a loved one is never easy. For this reason, Evangelical Hospice will offer a bereavement program titled “Life After Loss” on Wednesdays, September 15-October 20 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Community Health Education Center, located next to Staples on Route 15 in Lewisburg.

This six-week support group is open to anyone age 18 or over who is coping with the loss of a loved one. Participants will be given information regarding the emotions of grief and loss as well as coping strategies to work toward grief resolution. It is recommended that your loss be longer than six months. Evangelical social workers Christine Gessner, MSW, will lead the group.

The fee for this program is $20. Scholarships are available upon request. Registration is required. For more information or to register, please call Evangelical Hospice at (570) 522-2955.
