Evangelical Hospital welcomes Matthew Eager, M.D., to its medical staff

LEWISBURG — Evangelical Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Matthew Eager, M.D., to its Medical Staff. Dr. Eager is an orthopaedic surgeon who will be practicing with SUN Orthopaedic Group, Inc. in Lewisburg. Dr. Eager specializes in spine surgery.

Dr. Eager earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and completed his internship and residency training in general surgery and orthopaedic surgery at Geisinger Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship at the University of Virginia Medical Center, specializing in orthopaedic spine surgery.

He is board eligible for certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Eager lives with his wife, Allison, in Danville.
