Cherokee Pharmaceuticals Awards Evangelical Community Hospital Funding

LEWISBURG — Representatives from Cherokee Pharmaceuticals recently presented a check to Evangelical Community Hospital for a new program aimed at reducing childhood obesity. The Family FUNdamentals program will begin this fall and will teach students healthy eating habits, fun ways to exercise and social skills. Parents will also attend sessions on family management and how to strengthen child-parent relationships.
