August schedule for childbirth classes from Evangelical Community Health
LEWISBURG -- Evangelical Community Hospital has set its schedule for childbirth education classes for August. Classes are as follows:
· T-Dap Vaccination Clinics (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Acellular Pertussis) and Child Safety Seat Checks- Every Monday from 9 a.m.-noon and Wednesday from noon-4 p.m. in the Community Health Education Center, located next to Staples on Route 15 in Lewisburg. Protect yourself and your new baby by getting vaccinated. This vaccine is recommended for dads and all household members (18 years of age and older) of a newborn.
· Lamaze®- Wednesdays, August 4-September 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Health Education Center. The fee for this class is $50 and covers expectant-mom and coach.
· Hello Baby- Monday, August 2 at 6:30 p.m. in Apple Conference Room AB, located behind the Hospital’s Dining Room. This class prepares brothers and sisters, ages 3 through 8, for the new baby. You will see a video titled "Sibling Silly,” and children will learn diapering, swaddling and how to hold a baby. The children are welcome to bring their favorite doll or stuffed animal. The fee for this course is $10 per family.
· Teen Lamaze®-Wednesday, August 4 from 4-8:30 p.m. The fee for this class is $10 and covers expectant mom and coach.
Please register early. Class size is limited and registration is required for all classes. You may attend Evangelical’s childbirth education classes even if you are not planning to deliver at Evangelical.
