PennDOT names Robbins as senior highway maintenance manager
MONTOURSVILLE -- PennDOT Deputy Secretary Scott Christie, P.E. is pleased to announce that Terry R. Robbins has been appointed to the position of Senior Highway Maintenance Manager for the Lycoming/Sullivan County Maintenance Office in Engineering District 3-0, effective July 3.
Robbins has been with PennDOT for 24 years, serving as an Assistant County Manager in Lycoming County since October 2003. Robbins has also served as a Highway Foreman and Transportation Equipment Operator in the Lycoming County Maintenance Organization.
Robbins will oversee a staff of 171 employees and PennDOT maintenance activities in two counties with a total of 1,033 state highway miles and 650 state-owned bridges.
Robbins replaces T. Jay Cunningham, who became the district's Plans Engineer recently.
Terry Robbins lives near Beaver Lake. He has three children; son Eric and daughters Billee and Darcy.
