Riverwalk Closed Temporarily

WILLIAMSPORT -- It will be necessary for the County of Lycoming to temporarily close the Susquehanna Riverwalk on the entire north side of the Susquehanna River from Commerce Park Drive to the Maynard Street Bridge for public use on Thursday and Friday, April 22 - 23 so that the contractor Eastern Industries can make necessary repairs to a portion of the pavement surfaces.

This portion of the Riverwalk will be reopened this coming weekend, however if the repairs are not completed it will be necessary to close this section of the riverwalk again next week.

The portion of the Riverwalk in South Williamsport will remain open for public use during this entire period.
