First Friday at Pajama Factory Heats Up
WILLIAMSPORT -- First Friday at the Pajama Factory is heating up this February 5, beginning at 5 P.M. Love’s the honorary guest as a senses-awakening spread of artwork, food, music, and one-of-a-kind gifts sizzle the renovated red-brick factory.
February First Friday visitors will enjoy the fruits of 30 open artisan and creative studios; more than 20 local merchants specializing in catering, flowers, music, apparel, and unique gifts; a chocolate and wine pairing presentation at the Eagle Rock Winery; and DJs and dancing. Even the transportation will be sexy—a complimentary stretch hummer limousine shuttle provided by Kevin Head Entertainment will circulate between the downtown festivities and “The Art of Romance” events at the Pajama Factory.
The “Floating Gallery,” an innovative art exhibit concept which debuted this past December, is rich and diverse for the February event. Artist and Pajama Factory tenant Chad Andrews is curator of a show that includes 20 artists from around the globe—as far away as South Korea, England, and Lithuania. Andrews will also be hosting an open house for Paper +, a printmaking studio at the Pajama Factory. Design and print your own Valentines cards for as little as $3 to $5 between 6 and 9 P.M.
Merchants will be on hand from 5-9 P.M., studios open and music playing until at least 10 P.M. at the Pajama Factory, 1307 Park Avenue, Williamsport. Whether you are newly engaged and planning your wedding, shopping for something to wow your Valentine, or you’re simply a lover of fine art, great food, and an engaging night out, “The Art of Romance” will romance your senses.
