Angeline O. Thomas, 79, of 22 Ridge Street, died Thursday, September 24, 2009 at her home following a brief illness.

Angie and her husband, David S. Thomas, celebrated their 55th anniversary on August 23, 2009.

Angie was a homemaker. She was a Tiger Woods and Chicago Cubs Fan, enjoyed watching sports and was a social member of V.F.W. Post 844.

Born January 29, 1930 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Charles and Ora Meadows Greninger.

Surviving are besides her husband are a son, David S. (Wendy) Thomas Jr. of Allenwood; daughters, Terry L. (Kevin) Tobey of Groton, Conn. and Connie M. (Ryan Ross) Thomas of Lakeville, Ind.; brothers, Gene Greninger of Montgomery and Alfred Scott of South Williamsport; and six grandchildren.

Angie was predeceased by a son, Raymond C. Thomas; brothers, Earl, Ted, Charles and Richard Greninger and a sister, Mary Lou McCormick.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2009 at State Road Cemetery, Cogan Station with the Rev. Dr. David A. Keller officiating. No visitation.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Cancer Center at Divine Providence Hospital, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
