Lycoming County Democratic Committee Picnic
The Lycoming County Democratic Committee attracted a large crowd at their annual picnic in Memorial Park on Sunday July 31, 2016 to hear keynote speaker Mike
Molesevich, candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives. Also in attendance were Democratic Party dignitaries from Northumberland and Union Counties.
Standing in front of a large “Mike for Congress” banner, Mr. Molesevich listed his qualifications to represent our District in Washington, as well as his reasons for challenging incumbent Tom Marino.
Molesevich noted that he has thirty years of business experience. He cited his professional background in the energy field, and the common sense of believing 97% of climate scientists, not 3% of them. Molesevich stated that he is the only candidate with municipal government experience, having served eight years as a borough councilman and as mayor of Lewisburg. He then commented that his personal work shoes are not $1500 cowboy boots, but steel-toed work boots.
U.S. Congressional District 10 includes all of Lycoming County as well as Bradford, Juniata, Mifflin, Pike, Snyder, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Union and Wayne Counties plus parts of Lackawanna, Monroe, Northumberland, Perry and Tioga Counties.
Molesevich won his party’s nomination after a successful write-in campaign in the Primary Election last spring
