Two Snyder County Men Arrested for Alleged Drug Possession Shortly After Overdose

OLD LYCOMING TOWNSHIP -- On April 25, 2017 Old Lycoming Twp. Police were called to Weis Markets on Lycoming Creek Road for a male believed to be under the influence of drugs. Police arrived and spoke to Dylan Elliott, of Selinsgrove, as he was stumbling in the parking lot. Elliott was found to be under the influence of heroin and in possession of heroin and a hypodermic syringe.
 
While dealing with Elliott, another Old Lycoming Twp. police officer located a male slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle parked in the lot. That male was identfied as Kyle Dreese. It was learned that Dreese, also of Selinsgrove, had accompanied Elliott to Weis Markets in order to obtain syringes. Dreese was found to be under the influence of heroin too and in possession of heroin and a hypodermic syringe.
 
Dreese and Elliott confirmed that hours before they were transported by ambulance to the emergency room and administered Narcan after Williamsport City Police found them suffering of a heroin overdose in Williamsport City.
 
Both Dreese and Elliott are charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
