Two Men Injured in Route 15 Vehicle Crash
SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT -- Two men were seriously injured after being involved in a one-vehicle crash on Route 15 just west of Old Montgomery Pike Road in Armstrong Township around 9:52 p.m. April 1, 2017. According to State Police in Montoursville, Clinton A. Tallent, 29, of Montgomery, was driving a 2005 Kia SX south on Route 15 when the vehicle left the right side of the roadway and bottomed out the undercarriage on a grass embankment. The vehicle then hit a ditch and went airborne, striking a utility pole and then rode vertically up the telephone pole before landing and coming to rest on the right side of the road facing south.
Tallent and his passenger, Gabriel L. Rearick, 30, of Milton, were transported by South Williamsport EMS to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Neither man was wearing a seatbelt, according to police. Duboistown Fire Department, Williamsport Bureau of Fire, Susquehanna Regional EMS, Action Towing and fire police also assisted at the scene. Route 15 was closed for several hours.
