Two Injured in Loyalsock Township Crash
LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP -- Two people sustained minor injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Faxon Parkway and Sheridan Street around 12:25 p.m. May 1, 2017.
According to State Police in Montoursville, Mildred J. Gulliver, 84, of Williamsport, was traveling east on Sheridan Street in a 2017 Subaru Legacy when she failed to stop at the four way intersection. At that time, a 2000 Ford F-150 driven by Vincent T. Campana, 59, of Wiliamsport was traveling north on Faxon Parkway and was proceeding through the four way intersection. Gulliver's vehicle hit the front wheel assembly of Campana's truck. Her vehicle continued traveling for approximately 20 feet striking a utility pole on the northeast side of the intersection and coming to final rest facing the pole. Campana's truck continued northeast hitting a row of shrubbery before coming to final rest facing northeast.
Both drivers were transported to UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport by Loyalsock EMS. Both drivers also were wearing seatbelts, according to police. Gulliver was cited for failing to stop at the stop sign.
