PSP Montoursville Theft and Burglary Report March 19, 2017

State Police in Montoursville released several reports in the past week regarding area burglaries and thefts. A theft was reported at a home on Fink Hill Drive in Eldred Township that occurred sometime between January 1, 2016 and March 6, 2017. Police said an unknown actor(s) stole a 77-year-old victim's black watch box containing the following: 1/2 carat diamond ring with emerald, diamond, topaz and peridot birthstones on a silver band; 1/3 carat diamond engagement ring with smaller diamonds branching off main diamond with matching wedding band; and a gold band ring with 12 small recessed diamonds. Unknown actor(s) then fled the scene by unknown means in and unknown direction, undetected.

Poilce also are investigating a series of thefts from Kellogg's, 572 Industrial Park Road, Muncy Township, that occurred between March 1, 2015 and September 30, 2016. According to police, a Kellogg's employee allegedly took several glue gun nozzles from the facility and sold them online.

On March 2, 2017, an unknown actor(s) entered King's Garage at 105 Elimsport Road, Montgomery, and stole various items.

A 77-year-old woman from Ontario, Canada, reported that someone removed her purse from her vehicle while she was paying for gas inside the Sunoco at 1601 Dewey Avenue, Old Lycoming Township at 7:30 p.m. March 3, 2017.

Between March 4 and 5, 2017, an unknown actor(s) stole a glass pack muffler off a victim's truck parked on Buck Street southwest of Route 442 in Muncy Creek Township.
