PSP Montoursville Recent Reports on Burglaries and Thefts (Feb. 12)

According to State Police in Montoursville, an unknown actor entered a victim's residence on Salem Schoolhouse Road in Jordan Township, Lycoming County, sometime between 7:30 a.m. December 12 and  5 p.m. 13, 2016 and took several items, cash and guns. Total estimated value is $4,280.

Sometime between January 25 and February 7, 2017, someone removed a Custom 117 cubic inch motorcycle engine with no VIN from an unlocked motorcycle trailer in the backyard of a victim on Pleasant Hills Road in Eldred Township, police said.

On February 6, police responded to a report of retail theft at Weis Markets, 1272 E. Penn Street in Muncy Creek Township. A known juvenile stole a skil 18-volt cordless drill and a skil reciprocating saw. Charges were filed at the office of District Magistrate Jon E. Kemp in Muncy.

On February 7, a victim reported at Hazle Drive, Loyalsock Township, reported to police that the silver plastic trim piece with the Chevrolet logo on her blue Chevrolet Equinox had been removed. Anyone with information is asked to call PSP Montoursville at 570 368-5700.
