Montgomery Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash

MONTGOMERY -- A Montgomery woman sustained minor injuries when she was involved in a two-vehicle crash at Route 405 (Montgomery Street) just east of High Street in the borough at 4:20 p.m. March 9, 2017. According to State Police in Montoursville, Judith A. Strothers, 59, of Montgomery, was driving north on Route 405 in a 2005 Ford Taurus and hit the rear bumper of a 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by Jeanette L. Huggler, 26. Huggler's vehicle was stopped and had its left turn signal on, as she was waiting to attempt to turn left. Huggler was pregnant and considered high-risk,  so she was transported by Montgomery EMS to UPMC Susquehanna Hospital. Strothers was cited for following too closely.
