Man Cited for Disorderly Conduct After Causing Disturbance at Hospital Emergency Room
MUNCY -- A 28-year-old man who was admitted to the emergency room at UPMC Susquehanna Muncy Valley on April 26 was cited with disorderly conduct and harassment after becoming combative and irate. According to State Police in Montoursville, Brett Liddic was at the emergency room around 5 p.m. that evening and became irate because he was not allowed to smoke inside the building. He then decided to light a cigarette in the emergency room with pure oxygen nearby, endangering himself, the staff and the public. He also became combative and struck a 60-year-old man from Hughesville in the mouth. He was then transferred to Williamsport Regional Medical Center for further treatment. Liddic was cited with harassment and disorderly conduct at the office of District Magistrate Jon E. Kemp in Muncy.
