MEDIA ALERT – Senator Scarnati to Hold School Safety Grant Announcement Event on February 26

A School Safety Grant Announcement Event will be held on Wednesday, February 26th at Central Mountain High School in Clinton County,according to Senator Joe Scarnati (R-25).

The announcement event is an opportunity for the public to learn about Pennsylvania’s Safe Schools Grant Program and highlight school safety grants that have been awarded for the 2013-2014 year.  The event was rescheduled from the original date of February 6th.

Speakers at the program will include Senator Joe Scarnati, Keystone Central Superintendent Kelly Hastings and Police Chief Brandon Coleman.  The program will also feature an overview of school safety initiatives utilized by Keystone Central School District.

The announcement event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at one of the Keystone Central School District high schools.
