Farm Manager Sought - Carversville Farm Foundation - Bucks Co, PA

The Carversville Farm Foundation (CFF), a 501 (c) (3) public charity, will be a fully diversified, 150-acre farm with a threefold mission of providing 1) nourishment to people with limited means and access to fresh and healthy food; 2) educational outreach to the general public regarding how food is grown in a setting based on principles of sustainability, and 3) experimentation and demonstration for fellow farmers with respect to innovative approaches that are sustainable from an economic, environmental and social perspective.

We are currently searching for the right individual who will have a huge impact in the development and functioning of a highly ambitious and unique farm. This individual will lead in the development and management of CFF’s agricultural operations. This experienced and highly-competent individual will be responsible for the successful start-up and management of a diversified farm enterprise that encompasses more than 150 acres and wide variety of agricultural processes. The ideal person for this position will have the confidence and skill to function independently; have the spirit of a social entrepreneur; be creative and visionary; and be able to effectively lead a dynamic team comprised of farm employees, student interns and volunteers.
