Trevor Smith Adds a Game-Winning Grand Slam to His Inspirational Story

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (June 6, 2012) - In Greer S.C., Northwood Little Leaguer Trevor Smith came to bat in the bottom of the sixth inning with two outs, the bases loaded and his team, the Brewers, trailing the undefeated Giants, 1-0. Trevor, 12, hit a game-winning grand slam, which is certainly memorable for any child. What makes the feat amazing is that many years earlier, Trevor battled several physical setbacks during his infant years and has continued to overcome them.
