Spring Commencement Ceremonies Set for May 11-12
Penn College will hold three commencement ceremonies at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport on May 11-12 for the 962 students who have petitioned to graduate following the Spring 2012 semester. At 3 p.m. Friday, May 11, a ceremony will be offered for students from the schools of Industrial and Engineering Technologies, Integrated Studies, and Natural Resources Management. At 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12, a ceremony will be offered for students from the schools of Construction and Design Technologies and Health Sciences. At 1:30 p.m. that day, a ceremony will be offered for students from the schools of Business and Computer Technologies, Hospitality, and Transportation Technology. The student speaker for the May 11 ceremony is Alison R. Beitz, Millville, who will receive a bachelor’s degree in graphic communications management. Speaking at the 10 a.m. ceremony on May 12 is Jason T. Maddox, South Williamsport, who will receive a bachelor’s degree in building science and sustainable design. The student speaker for the 1:30 p.m. ceremony on May 12 is Clint Hinton, Lock Haven, who will receive a bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance technology.
