Wildcat Student-Athletes Earn Conference 'All-Academic' Honors

Penn College, in conjunction with the Penn State University Athletic Conference, has announced the recipients of the Fall 2001 All-Academic Team award. The award is given to student-athletes with a grade-point average of 3.0 or better in the semester of competition. On the six teams that competed during the semester, 44 student-athletes made the grade – two more than last year's group. In addition to the high level of academic excellence, the fall teams also performed well on the playing fields with an impressive 42-29-4 (.587) win-loss record, capturing two PSUAC championships and numerous all-conference and All-American awards.
