Crystal Gayle to present Christmas Concert on December 9
MANSFIELD, PA— Country music superstar Crystal Gayle will present “A Christmas Music & Greatest Hits Show” at Straughn Hall on Friday, December 9 at 8 p.m.
Best known for her 1977 hit, Don't It Make Brown Eyes Blue, Gayle has accumulated 20 number one country hits during her career. She is the younger sister of Loretta Lynn and a distant cousin of Patty Loveless. In 2009, Gayle was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Gayle is working on her first studio album in nine years. Her two most recent releases, in 2005 and 2007, were both live albums.

Tickets are $30 in advance and are available at The Hungry Monkey and Mansfield Motors in Mansfield, Country Ski & Sports in Wellsboro, Berger’s Ski & Snowboard Shop in Corning and Party Time in Elmira. Tickets are also available on-line at tix.com
Tickets are $35 on the night of the show. All concert seating is general admission. Doors open at 7 p.m.
