Classes to be Offered Over Semester Break

MANSFIELD, PA— The frowning side of Facebook, new technologies, mummies, Vikings, pirates and Pennsylvania sports are just a few of the subjects in a series of special three-week online courses at Mansfield University this December.
The courses include Introduction to Film Studies, which surveys the history and technique of American cinema.
The Dark Side of Interpersonal Communication looks at problems that impact personal and significant relationships including aggression, bullying, criticism, deception, infidelity and revenge among other behaviors.
The History of Sports in Pennsylvania explores the relationship between sports and Pennsylvania's residents from pre-colonial times to the present.
Others include Promoting Learning with New Technologies, Mummies, Vikings and Pirates and Mathematical Problem Solving.
