Cedarcrest Staff & Students Raise Money for Flood Relief
MANSFIELD, PA— The students and staff in Mansfield University’s Cedarcrest Manor are raising money to help people in the region affected by the early September flooding.
Led by Director Stefanie Blass and the Cedarcrest residence life staff, t-shirts and bracelets are being sold. All proceeds will be donated to the flood relief and recovery effort.
Blass says the bracelets are almost gone but there are still t-shirts available for $8 in the Campus Bookstore, Lower Manser Hall or from any member of the Cedarcrest residence life team.
Cedarcrest also conducted “penny wars,” with each floor in the residence hall competing to collect change. That effort has raised more than $400 so far.
MU students and staff have made several trips to affected areas to help with the clean-up effort.
